Mukti Mission Centre

Mukti Mission Centre is a campus that protects and supports young women and children in India. This mission centre provides education, shelter, and food. It is a home and safe space for the unprotected.

This centre was very peculiar, instead of housing all the girls in one building, there were multiple small buildings with different rooms. Each room held a flower family, a flower family is a group of girls with a house mother.

I am glad I visited Mukti. Not only was I able to bring over Project Bloom to make roses for the kids and ladies who served us, and taught an origami session, but I was able to spread joy, learn more things about India, make new friends, and was able to see so much happiness with so little for the first time in my life.
