Canadian Roses

My friend and I where fooling around when we came up with a great idea for a gift. I folded an origami rose and as a joke my friend stuck it on a pencil. I thought this creation would be a neat gift for the next flower family we were going to visit.

During our visit I was nervous they wouldn't like the gift but as soon as I took the flowers out their eyes lit up with glee. We played some traditional Indian games and took a few pictures together.

I was glad I could fulfill the project statement and bring a bit of joy to their community with the roses. I hope when the girls look back the flowers, it will be a reminder of our time spent with them.
