Origami Penguins and Mittens

After spending my first semester at Trinity Western University, I finally had the chance to come home for a long break. Even though I only live an hour away, studying made me really busy and my parents wanted me to live independently for a bit (so no coming home for a while lol). I had no time for Project Bloom and had to quit all of my extracurriculars and hobbies for school. But when I came back I got to see my family, reconnect with my brother and sister, and have time for Project Bloom.

I wanted to make a new origami set but I didn't end up getting the chance to as I was swamped with scholarship work. I decided in the end to spend an entire day preparing 40 kits with half being origami mittens and origami penguins, as it would match the winter theme. Sadly, it didn't snow this break which was really disappointing. As I though that the snow could add more to the Christmas cheer.

For once, I was on time with the delivery drop-off as I didn't have to pull an all-nighter the night before, and successfully washed my hair. This time I got a photo with the receptionists for my blog although I always feel awkward asking for one. I am optimistic about the kits as children seem to love the simpler shapes and cuter designs. I hope that the kids can enjoy the winter kits with their families and take them home as a fun holiday activity! Merry Christmas Everyone!
